Introducing Venetian Gardens' New Director of Nursing

Venetian Gardens would like to welcome David Booher RN, DON to our Team! David is the new Director of Nurse at our skilled nursing facility and we are so excited for him to join the Venetian Family. To acclimate our residents with this new face Tim Wagstrom, Venetian Gardens’ Administrator, served ice cream cones with our new DON, while introducing David along the way.

Background:

David was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He was lead to nursing after being accepted into the vocational school’s nursing program during high school. He started the program his junior year and continued on the path graduating from Kent State University.

Currently, David lives in Milford, Ohio with his wife, Jennifer, son, Jackson, and their labradoodle, Lady. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family and going camping. David also enjoys archery, running, and playing golf. While he enjoys all kinds of music, he rarely watches TV unless it’s to see the Browns play a game. He admits that he still has a few international travel destinations and ultra-marathons he’d like to cross off his bucket list one day.

When asked what’s his favorite thing about Venetian Gardens was so far, He simply replied,

“The culture and organization. I am simply impressed by the dedication of the staff here.”

David’s own dedication and compassion make him the perfect fit for our team. We cannot wait to see the amazing impact that David will undoubtedly bring to Venetian Gardens. He is determined to build our Culture of Care every day.
